This weekend is the 33rd Annual Country Music Festival for our sleepy little town of Boyup Brook in the southwest region of Western Australia.
The Country Music Festival and Ute and Truck Muster is the biggest annual event and is made possible with the support of local businesses and the endless hours put in by dedicated volunteers.
This year the line-up includes The McClymonts, Travis Collins, Allan Caswell, Benn Gunn, Billy Bridge & Rebecca Lee Nye, Codee-Lee, Craig Adams, Donna Lou & the Jay Katz, Graham Rodger, Hayden McGlinn. Hussy Hicks, Jasmine Atkins, Kate Hindle, Warren H Williams & Dani Young, The Eastern Line and many more.
I have to admit one of my favourite parts of the festival is the Saturday Street Carnival which turns our normally quiet streets into a hive of colour, music and activity. I headed in to town this morning just in time for the street parade of an impressive turnout of Utes and Trucks as they headed down through town to the muster at Music Park.
